I am having initial gum recession in two teeth and I do have some initial stage cavities forming in molars which my dentist advised not to get filled because its not too serious. Sir could you please suggest some homoeopathic medicines in order to stop cavity progression and help reduce the gum recession. Also does vitamin c tablets help in regrowing the gum tissue? You may use a gum paint to massage your gums with two to three times daily for a month .vitamin c only helps in reducing the probability of bleeding gums .nothing to do with tissue growth..

Hello, both the problem of recession and cavities need a dental visit. They cannot be cured or treated by having medicines. Recession of gums could be because of deposits between your tooth and gums which need a round of scaling and if needed other option to get the gums back to the original position. As far as dental cavities are concerned if they are not serious now they will get serious later because it is a irreversible damage so better get it filled at a initial stage so that you do not have to go for other extensive treatment and you do not experience pain. The receeding of gum can be due to crowded teeth, deposits, faulty tooth brushing etc. Can be only elicited by clinical examination, accordingly treatment can be formulated.
