For a person not having diabetes, the major precautions to be taken are eat a healthy diet, avoid to much of sugary foods, colas, junk foods, bakery items, deep fried foods and too much processed (packaged) foods. Avoid red meat. Increase the intake of green leafy vegetables, salads, fruits. Always better to use whole grain flour for roti and chapati. Plus eat in moderation. Thanks.
