My Father is a cancer patient & 32 radiations and 6 chemo has been completed 3 months back. After treatment of three months, now we came for follow up and they have written one test "DLDP-III" on that report they mentioned as IMPRESSION: Post RT, Ca, LVC. Oedematous both false and true cords. Please kindly answer, is it cancer reducing or making any making any problem.

Fibre optic Direct laryngoscopy is usually done as a part of follow up of laryngeal cancers. Edema is quite common after radiation therapy. They would tell you if they find any recurrence. Do stay away from smoked or chewed tobacco and alcohol.
