I am 26 years old woman having a 5 years old son. Currently ate 75 mcg thyronorm tablet but today I found my TSH level is 7. 85 is it ok or can I change my tablet dosage.

Lybrate-user , Thanks for the query. When one is on adequate dose of Levothyroxine, TSH is maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L. At that level all the symptoms of the disease are in complete check. Since your TSH is 7.85 mU/L, there is a need to increase the dosage of Thyroxine by 12.5 mcg per day. Then check TSH after about 6 to 8 weeks. Thanks.
