I am suffering from symptoms like sneezing, nasal congestion, running nose from several months and when I used to medicate, these symptoms go away temporarily but these happen again after sometime. Hi lybrate-user, Ayurveda can help your friend for permanent result. You should avoid Urad, banana, oil fried food spices. Saline water gargle should be done before meals. Non-irritating and bland diet, hot water, lemon, green and leafy vegetables particularly having sour and bitter taste. You can also doing this at home: 6-7 basil leaves 5-6 cloves (powder) 2-3 black piper 1/4 teaspoon ginger paste all this add in 150 ml of water then boiling mild flame and reduce to 100 ml. Dear lybrateuser, - Your problem is due to a deviated nasal septum in which the nasal septum is pushed more to one side leading to recurrent infection & other symptoms as you have mentioned - a correction by surgery may be required if the symptoms are severe & recurrent & to treat the problem.
