I had my blood checkup last week in which Thyroid Stimulating hormone (TSH) is high (8.39) And Blood Platelet is less (110. I had my blood test 2 years back also then also my Platelet was around 110 which should be at least more than 150.In the last 3 years my Platelet never increased from 110 though some time it decreased but never crossed 110. Please suggest on the above 2 issues.

Nothing to worry. Few patients do have low platelet. Just do you clotting and bleeding time. If normal. Its ok to have this level of platelet. TSH is borderline high. Repeat it after 4 weeks if still remains high then we can start on thyroxine.
