I am pregnant and now it's 62 days over. I had consulted gynecologist and she gave Folvite tablets 5 mg to intake after breakfast in the morning. And also told me to take blood and urine test. In my report, they found out that my sugar level was 112 at fasting and I also have Thyroid of TSH level 5.52. Now for thyroid they have prescribed Eltroxin 25 mcg tablet in the morning in empty stomach. Can you please advise whether can I take both tablets Eltroxin before 1 hr to food and Folvite after my food in the morning itself. Is this safe to have. And also please advise me about my Thyroid and sugar levels, is it too high or moderate or low. Kindly advise accordingly. Thank you.

The thyroid ( TSH ) is a little high and so the tablet was given which will be beneficial for you. Regarding the sugar levels , you can again repeat fasting/ post lunch and HbA1c or as your doctor suggests. Being regular for the follow up and investigations will help the doctor to assess your progress ( baby's health and your health ) so that you can have a safe and happy pregnency. Please eat a healthy and balanced diet and do mild exercise according to your comfort. Please be objective and pragmatic, and do not anticipate any problems.
