Be below the range. What shall we do. When we give two days in a week with 50 mg and rest of the days with 37. 5 mg ,her count was within the range. Can we give like this (different dosage)?

Yes, different doses at different days of the week is a very common way of prescribing in patients of diabetes. There is nothing incorrect in this way. When we prescribe medicine for hypothyroid patients - we just provide supplementation of deficient hormone in the body. We currently have no medicine to cure the thyroid gland - we just have medicine to fulfil the hormone that was supposed to be manufactured by the thyroid gland.

Hello, Thanks for the query. It is important to maintain TSH around 3 to 4 mU/L, for maintaining normal health, intelligence and IQ plus growth. High TSH is not good. If with different dosage (as mentioned), if TSh is remaining in the prescribed range (actual value is not mentioned), then you may continue the same. Thanks.
