Don't stop medication immediately, just reduce the dose, then check sugar level, consult with expert, then decide. Because if stop immediately sugar will be high. Continue excise then gradually skip the medicine with Dr. advice.

lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Madam there is no mention of blood glucose levels both fasting & PP plus HbA1c%. So it is difficult for me to comment on your diabetes status. Another important aspect is your weight, you have grade 1 obesity with a BMI of 30.60 kgs/M2 (normal <23 kgs/M2). This is the main reason for getting diabetes and probably will also hinder achieving normal glucose levels. Considering that doing exercise for 30 minutes is not not gong to be enough for you. Plus we have to look at your dietary intake, that has to be properly planned to help maintain proper glucose levels and reduce weight. Once diabetes is diagnosed it is almost impossible to control blood glucose levels without medication. The treatment has to be for lifetime. There is no other option. Since you want to stop the drugs completely, it is probably most unlikely to happen. Only possibility is if you cut down your weight to your ideal body weight which is 49 kgs, there may be a remote chance. Thanks.
