I have thyroid. I take thyroxine 25 mg. My weight increasing. I become fat. I go regular fr walk everyday 2 hours. Still I gain. please suggest. How to control weight.

lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Since you are on treatment for hypothyroidism, ideally it should have been under control. If one is on adequate dose of levothyroxine, then TSH levels are maintained between 3 to 4 mU/L, which will control all the unpleasant symptoms effectively. So please check the TSH level and if it is higher than above mentioned, then there is a need for increasing the dose of thyroxine being taken. So please do the test and come back. Thanks.
