Hi i'm 23 years old. During my recent thyroid checkup the report shows that my tsh is within normal range but t3 t4 level are below normal range. What does it mean? As my tsh is normal do I have thyroid or not? And I have pcod so do they consider t3 t4 too during hormone analysis?

People with secondary hypothyroidism may have normal or slightly low tsh levels. In this case, doctors will base a diagnosis on low t4 levels. Some potential causes of secondary hypothyroidism include: certain medications, such as opioids, prednisone, and dopamine.
