I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism a year and a half back and i've been put on medication (thyronorm) .it's been three days having sharp pain in the neck .it is not negligible pls guide me.

Hi, Lybrate user, it might be pain of spondylitis, need x-ray of cervical vertebrae to assess the exact condition of affected part inorder to begine a successful homoeo medication. Physiotherapy be needed to condition the cervical pain. Homoeopathic remedies can assist you well. Avoid, junk food, jerks, pillows and lifting weight. Tk, care.

lybrate-user, It is difficult to say why such pain is being experienced. Because in hypothyroidism such a complaint is hardly observed. Plus there is no mention of t4 & tsh levels, dosage of thyroxine being taken, weight and height. Without all the relevant information it is not possible to give any opinion.
