Any immediate medicine to reduce thyroid as test shows more than 100. Started taking thyrox-100 from last 5 days. Symptoms like uneasiness and feeling hot.

Hi only treatment is thyroxine tablets as you are taking. It will take some days or weeks to get rid of all symptoms of hypothyroidism. After about 4 to 6 weeks you will have to get thyroid assay (tsh test) done again to see if the dose being taken is adequate or it may have to be increased. Avoid soya and soya containing products, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, mustard and coffee. Increase intake of green vegetables, fruits and use whole grain flour for making rotis and chapatis. Plus exercise regularly.
