I was tested for thyroid 4 months back and found that TSH was 14. My doc suggested thyronorm 50 after a month I again tested for TSH it was found to be 9. Due to this dosage increased to 75 after 2 months it was found to be 0.99. Now how much dose should I take. Is this responsible for infertility. My semen analysis volume: 3 ml sperm cont: 38mil/ml, motility: 40% morphology: 4%. PH 7.2.

Hello, Thanks for the query. TSH 0.99 mU/L, is good enough, shows that hypothyroidism is under control. Same dosage needs to be continued. Repeated changes in thyroxine dosage is not advisable. Current TSH level is with in normal limit. Hypothyroidism can cause low libido, lower levels of testosterone and erectile dysfunction. Thanks.
