Adopting a hormone friendly diet is only one aspect of management of hypothyroidism. It is important to treat hypothyroidism in a comprehensive manner. A hotmone friendly diet involves plenty of coloured vegetables, nuts, fish, avoidance of dairy products (curds and yogurt may be taken) and avoidance of processed foods and bakery products. Those having gluten intolerence should avoid wheat products.
