I am 19 years old. I am diabetic type 2 plus my cholesterol is high . I am overweight 85 kgs and height 5.5. I need a proper diet chart. To lower my blood sugar and lose weight. Please help.

Mr. Lybrate-user, to suggest a specific diet, I need to know following details, fbs< pp bs & hba1c%, present diet, extent of exercise, based on those details I can give a diet plan. A person with diabetes has to avoid sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries, other bakery items, sweetened aerated drinks, fructose corn syrup containing products, highly processed foods and high fat milk products. Should consume more of green leafy vegetables, salads and permitted fruits (100 g a day). Use whole grain flour and whole grain products. Thanks.
