My friend has thyroid. She is taking thyroid medicines from last one year but her TSH level is increasing very slowly. Dr. has told her to go for iodine therapy. Want to know what is this and what is the side effects. And we are going to get married soon so I want to ask that if we go for iodine therapy. Does will get any problem for having baby. And what is the effects for pregnancy of thyroid. We heard that thyroid person does not conceive. Can any Dr. will tell me the full details about thyroid. I am really afraid. Thank you.
