So please see that your tsh levels are maintained between 3 to 4 milli units / ml. Then efforts to reduce weight will show necessary results. You need to cut down on carbs intake as well as trans fats like deep fried foods, pastries, bakery items, processed food, fructose corn syrup containing products and aerated sweetened drinks (colas). Your current bmi is 23.21 kgs/m2, which is just above normal. So daily intake has to be tailored down to about 1800 calories. Plus a good work out of over 1 hour a day is needed. Add specific abdominal exercises, which will strengthen muscle around waist and abdomen. Plus if you can jog or run for 30 minutes a day that will help in removing fat around the abdomen. Dear lybrate, antidepressants & hypothyroidism both cause weight gain. Start brisk walking twice daily for 45 minutes, exercise daily. Divide your diet 4 times daily what you eat 2 times. Take lukewarm water with a lemon & honey on empty stomach in morning. Avoid nonveg, restrict oil & sugar intake. Take lot of salads half hour before meals.
