Grade 1 is slightly impaired diastole. It is common finding in people over age 60 yrs. The fact of the matter is true diastolic dysfunction is indeed serious. There is no cure for diastolic heart function. But the symtoms can be managed how to treat 1. Quit smoking 2.lower sodium intake. 3.increase aerobic exercises. It should be regular. Diuretics may help to relieve.
