Hi there are no symptoms for thyroid because it is a normal gland present is all of us, producing hormone thyroxine. Deficiency of this hormone causes hypothyroidism and excess causes hyperthyroidism. Of these hypothyroidism is more common. This causes weight gain, slow heart rate, sluggishness, tired feeling, fatigue, joint pains, intolerance to cold, dry skin and hair, hair loss, in ladies there is irregularity of menstrual periods, excess flow, difficulty in speech, inability to concentrate, anxiety and depression etc.
