I cannot talk for long time. If I talk or 5 or 10 minutes, my throat feels strained. I also have burning in my throat after using my voice. Also I have swelling on the right side of my chest near 3rd costal cartilage. All these problems are since 3 months. I had done forceful bhastrika pranayam continuously for some days. Also taken muscle relaxant 2 months back for 5 days. But swelling in chest is still the same and also throat strain after talking.

1. Bhastrika prnayam is where you sit cross legged and inhale deeply and exhale forcefully for 20 breaths. This should not cause any swelling near costal cartilages (should be evaluated by imaging studies) 2. Voice fatigue should be evaluated with vocal cord examination by laryngoscopy 3. Better consider an ent review before symptoms worsen.

What r other symptoms that you r experiencing? By doing what like walking, exertion, eating or empty stomach- it increases or decreases in intensity. For how much time the pain remains? Is there stiffness also? How is your appetite? R you constipated? Any problem in urine? I need to know more to be able to make diagnosis. In the meanwhile follow this 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Finish your dinner at least 2 hours before going to sleep. 6. Maintain active life style7. Avoid fast foods, spicy n fried foods, carbonated beverages 8. Take a lot of green vegetables n fruit. 9. Drink lot of water.10. Everyday preferably sleep on same time exercise in the form of yoga, cycling, swimming, gym etc. Till lockdown do suryanamaskar every day. for this homeopathy offers good results.
