Taking thyronorm 75 mcg since one month (dose increased from 50 mcg due to tsh of 9.29 ). Due to severe heel and body pain tested tsh. And is 6.45 (non fasting) .is one month a reasonable period to test tsh after dose change.

AS YOUR WEIGHT IS TOO MUCH. ACCORDING TO YOUR HEIGHT IT SHOULD BE 78 KG ONLY. ANY WAY INCREASE DOSE OF THYRONORM TO 88 mcg. TAKE ALWAYS EMPTY STOMACH. TEA OR MILK ONE HOUR LATER. USE TATA IODISED MILK IN SALAD AND FRUITS

Hello, Thanks for the query. Ideally with adequate treatment TSH should be around 3 to 4 mU/L, at which level all the symptoms are in check. Usually it is advised to check TSH to be checked after 6 weeks of any dosage change. However, 4 weeks is fine. If you have any questions do come come back. Thanks.
