I am a 21 year old. I have a thyroid problem, my tsh level was high so the doctor whom I consulted prescribed me thyronorm 25. I have taking it every day in the morning since 8 weeks. I am dealing with extreme hair fall. My hair is falling from the roots they very weak. I use sulphate free shampoo and conditioner and an onion and redensyl hair oil. I am taking the medicine regularly as well. But its been 8 weeks my hair fall is just increasing day by day. The doctor prescribed me keraglo eva too for the hair fall. I took it for 4 months last year. Still, my hair fall was extreme and it still is.

Hi lybrate-user hypothyroidism is a major cause of hair fall. Since you have recently started thyroid medication it may take some time to show effecf. Meanwhile you can also apply minoxidil lotion 2%. Hair fall would take some time to slow down. Be patient. If you need further advice you can consult.
