My rbs=118 mg/dl and hba1c is 8.3% why it is so high. I am taking glycomet 500 mg since 15 days and. My bp is 130/80max. I am taking dilnip trio in morning. Pl guide me.

The RBG value is good. However, it is necessary to know fasting and PP values as HbA1c% is quite high. High HbA1c% is suggestive of uncontrolled diabetes. At your age it should be< 7% and FBG< 100 mg or closer to 100 mg & PP 150 to 170 mg. High HbA1c% is suggesting that present treatment is not enough. Plus there is a need to look at your diet and daily exercise. With a BMI of  26.84 kgs/Sq meter you are over weight. Your ideal body weight should be about 69 to 70 kgs. Which means there is an excess of 10 plus kg. This also hinders proper glucose control.Thanks.

Continue your medicines and get fasting and pp blood sugar and hba1c test done after 3 months. Hba1c should be done at interval of 3 months and not earlier.

It means your sugar is not under control for last 3 months. Random can vary. It's not useful. Consult any good endocrinologist online or in clinic.
