Dear Lybrateuser, - to keep fit & active you have to follow a healthy lifestyle which includes: - a well balanced diet with more of fruits vegetables including green leafy ones whole grains instead of refined ones & protein rich foods - include a protein rich food in each of your meals and also as a snack in-between meals, have 4-5 small meals including a protein snack like yogurt, a glass of chocolate milk, a handful of nuts or paneer or buttermilk during the day - have plenty of oral fluids including 7-8 glasses of water per day for proper hydration, as even mild dehydration causes weakness & tiredness - do regular exercise like brisk walking or jogging or swimming or cycling for 15-20 min, also do weight bearing exercises like pushups, pullups, crunches, squats and also moderate weight lifting for 10-15 min 2-3 times a week to develop your muscles & to keep fit - sleep well for at least 6-7 hours at night, keep your sleep and wake up time fixed - de-stress by doing yoga, deep breathing or meditation, follow a hobby - get your blood hemoglobin, sugar, thyroid hormone levels, vit d & b12 levels checked if not done so earlier.
