Dear doctor, first my tsh level was 7.5, I was using 25 mcg. Thyronorm for the past 3.5 months (in the mid on 2nd month my tsh was 5.6).after 3 months when I tested, my tsh lvl. Was 2.7. Checked with doctor. Asked to stop the tablet and told to do blood test after 3 months. Till then not to take the tablets. I stopped taking the tablet from 1 week, but I am getting continues head ache and joint pain and severe pain in legs and foot. Not able to concentrate on work (i am computer operator. Please suggest me what is to be done. Will it cause any serious issue. Any home remedies please? Thanks in advance. Please treat the matter as most urgent.

It looks like you are anaemic. And also you have to check with your vitamin and calcium, if the bones are weak then automatically the pain gets triggered more as there is less energy during any metabolic activity.

Since you are hypothyroid and Initial TSH level is 7.5 ,it is not advisable to stop the medication for thyroid altogether . 25 mcg is very small dose only .You can continue with this dose and check T3 T4 And TSH levels after 3 months. As for your head ache ,joint pains and pain in the legs you can take symptomatic treatment like 1. calcium supplements 2.vitamin E 3 Vitamin D3 60 k weekly for 8 weeks 4.Multivitamin tablets
