Hi lybrate-user you are just 32 years old and you can definitely lose weight by making some healthy changes in your lifestyle. You shouldn't become desperate and look for shortcuts which can have harmful effects on your health. As a dietitian, I cannot suggest any medicine but can give you tips to lose weight. This process may not be very fast but the results that you will get will be sustained. And most importantly you will feel healthier and more energetic. In order to lose weight permanently, you need to make some permanent changes in your lifestyle esp. Your eating habits and� activity. Regarding eating habits, some useful tips- *have small meals at regular intervals of 2-3 hrs. *start your day early with a wholesome breakfast to boost your metabolism. *include complex carbs like whole wheat roti, dalia, jowar bajra, ragi, oats, parboiled or brown rice abd avoid refined carbs like maida, polished rice and sugar. *have good quality proteins in every meals like egg whites, fish, low fat milk and milk products, whole pulses, sprouts,chana, chola, beans, soyabean, nuts. *have lots of veggies in both cooked and raw form. Have salad regularly before lunch. *snack on fruits like apple, papaya, guava, mausambi, grapefruit etc. *have at least 3 ltrs of water but not with meals. *dinner should be light and should be eaten at least 2 hrs before bedtime. *avoid fatty, fried, sugary and fast foods. *regular exercise is also essential to lose and maintain the weight loss.
