Dear Lybrateuser, - you can test your blood sugar for fasting & post meal & also hba1c to know your exact blood sugar levels so that further management can be planned accordingly - a well balanced diet with portion control & more of fibre containing foods such as fruits, vegetables including green leafy ones, whole grains instead of refined ones, protein foods & healthy fats as in fish, olive & canola oil for cooking, avocados, nuts - include a protein food in each of your meals to stabilise the blood sugar - you can have a portion of non veg - also do regular exercise like walking, jogging, swimming, cycling and moderate weight lifting for 15-20 min twice a week to keep fit - the sugar if high has to be monitored.

You have borderline diabetes. You can start a regime to prevent further aggravation. Pls, take an online appointment for a detailed consultation. You will have to maintain the diet and exercise lifelong. Initially you can start a brisk walk of 25 min daily. Do pranayama also.
