Dear lybrate-user, when did you meet your psychiatrist last? You need to meet her/him often to adjust the dose of medicines and also for other psychosocial rehabilitation. Not feeling well and lack of sleep may be due to inadequate treatment of depression. How much veniz you are taking and for how long? Lithosun needs blood level assessed every 3 months and it should be kept at 0.8 - 1.2 mmol/l. Please get the serum lithium level done 12 hours after the last dose and meet your psychiatrist. Please don't take any sleeping pill by yourself.

It is deeply concerning that you are suffering from depression for the last 20 years. Although you have not provided us with an extensive history of your illness, it seems like your current medications are not helping you. You mention that you are not feeling well, lacking sleep, etc, I wonder if you have explained these symptoms with your prescribing psychiatrist who knows about your condition well. I believe that you may need to have your medications modified or changed and I strongly suggest that you meet with a psychiatrist if you need help with your current symptoms. Look forward to hearing from you. If you need help with booking an appointment online with me on this website either text, audio, or video appointment for a confidential and private consultation you may do so by contacting the help desk of Lybrate.
