Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Both fasting & PP glucose levels mentioned are high, suggesting uncontrolled diabetes. Ideally in a controlled diabetic fasting should be closer to 100 mg or < 100 mg, PP 150 to 170 mg & HbA1c% < 6.8.(not mentioned). Another important aspect is with a BMI of 3.22 kgs/Sq meter, you are already in grade 1 obesity. There is an excess of 33 kgs, because at your age looking at height and age ideal body weight should be 66 kgs. This is one of the or probably the main cause for unconrolled diabetes. Now there is a need to upgrade the current treatment, by adding additional drugs, secondly there has to be closer look given to your diet and extent of daily exercise. It absolutely essential to maintain strict glucose levels as mentioned, to prevent or postpone the long term complications associated with diabetes. Therefore, please consult your doctor and get the treatment upgraded also look at diet change and increasing exercise to reduce weight. If you are looking for online help, then please come in a private conversation (Paid consultation), then I will be able to give specific guidance and even prescribe the drugs needed. Because in this communication we are supposed to give only general guidelines, no drugs can be prescribed. Choice is yours. Thanks.
