I am a 56 years old menopausal female having hypothyroidism and hypertension. I take AMTAS AT in the morning and COVERSYL AM 4/5 in the night. But I am extremely uncomfortable. Is this combination ok? My BP is more or less stable now. I have changed these medicines since a month. I also have a lot of muscle pain, specially legs. My BP would shoot up to 180/100. One other doctor has suggested to take OLMESAR H 20 in the evening instead of COVERSYL AM 4/5. I am confused. My triglycerides are 196.

There is tendency for temporary weakness when BP is treated effectively. Weakness should normalize soon. You have amlodipine in both your combination pills. Not a problem but your Dr. should make note of same. Do not change to olmi 20 + H at present. Olmisartan is similar to coversyl. I will be too strong when combined with other medicines. Triglycerides 196 is due to sugar and starch in diet. Change to balanced traditional diet. It is much healthier that the modern restricted diet. Best wishes.
