Hair loss in men may be androgentic alopecia, telogen effluvium, alopecia areata and many more, though the first one is the most common. Androgenetic alopecia is a condition of baldness affecting young male patients. It is due to the action of male sex hormones on the hair follicle. It results in loss of hair from the front, sides and crown areas of the scalp. Though this condition cannot be cured once for all, therapies are available to reduce hair loss and maintain hair growth. Minoxidil, hair peptide serums, finasteride, PRP, hair transplantation are some of the therapies available. You need to have a long follow up with your dermatologist. Half- hearted efforts will not give sustained results. Dandruff is an itchy scaly scalp condition. The condition persists for long. Depending on your condition and severity, lotions and shampoos can be prescribed. The frequency of their application depends on severity, response and which phase of treatment ? clearance/maintenance you are in. Consult a dermatologist and be on regular follow up. Desire to have a lighter skin is common. However getting lighter skin tone than one?s natural tone is difficult. Sunscreens can be of a little help. Various therapies like glutathione, peels, creams, are available for this purpose. Drawback is that they are costly and need continuous maintainance as long as you desire the improved tone. Consult a dermatologist and discuss your possible options. We have seen people landing up with irreversible skin damage after the use of over the counter fairness creams. So kindly donot self medicate.
