I am 42 years old and weighs about 98 kgs, I do daily 1 hr walking or cycling, is this enough exercise for me? What are the food habits I should follow?

Exercise will contribute to about 30% of your weight loss. Rest 70% has to come thorough better diet management. 1. Fast walk/jog is better than cycling for weight loss. 2. Add 2-3 Fruits per day taken in gaps between meals. 3. Cut down Sweets/Biscuits/ Colas from your diet. Take 10-15 almonds per day. 4. Completely eliminate Puris/Parathas/Pizzas/Burgers/Fried Rice etc 5. ?Eat plain roti/rice with simple dal and lots of salad in each meals.

Instead eat home cooked meals with 4 to 5 servings of fruits and veggies. Have your dinner early and keep it light. Eat a protein rich breakfast every morning.
