Hello doctor. I am 4 month pregnant. Everything is ok But my prob is m suffering from left leg pain. Which is radiating from left leg to the foot and its like nerve pain. I have consulted with the my gynecologist. She said its sciatica pain. She prescribed me paracetamol 500 tab. And said take 2 tab in pain. I took but there is no relief. M in extreme pain. Doctor prescribed me bed rest becoz ofy last miscarriage but m not able to lay on bed even at night. For whole night and not even in day time becoz of this pain. By chance I slept its jus and jus for half hour. please doctor advice me what should I do. thank you Regards.

Hi, Start with hot fermentation for 15 minutes at gluteal region. Follow the instructions: Don't sit for longer time Don't stand for longer time Walk in a day whenever you feel at your home area Avoid cross leg sitting Start with mild stretching of your leg Consult a nearby physiotherapist for pain modality Don't do bed rest your weight will increase Physiotherapist will guide you the exercises follow them it will be helpful and beneficial. Pain killer will not help you much Take treatment for sciatica now itself after pregnancy it will be more painful. Keep placing a pillow while you lye down on the side you have pain. It will be helpful.
