Both roti and rice are fine till the time they are in limited quantity and taken without oils/fried. However most of Indian's weight comes from fried foods, samosas, pastries, sweets, burgers, pizzas, biryanis, ice creams. Colas etc. But when it comes to weight loss they start blaming rice/ roti.
