If I left fibroadenoma are they cause any worry for me? As it is said by gynaecologist that they r benign. But I am 28 years old nd my marriage will not happen if any scar is found in breast. My parents are in great tension becoz of it. I dnt no wat to do. Shall I wait fr sometime. they r not causing sny trouble to me. I am obese shall reducing the weight or modifying my diet can help me in dissolving dem without surgery.

Hello lybrate-user. This is the doubt many people have often. For a fibroadenoma to leave as it is or to get it removed. As already said, it's always a benign lesion and never progresses to anything dangerous. So there is no need to be worried about. The fibroadenoma usually reduces by itself over a period of time, but it cannot be determined how long. Neither reducing the weight has any effect on them. However if the lesions cause some minor problems such as deformity in Breast shape, slight pain or any Aesthetic causes, then they can be removed by simple procedure and this doesn't cause any kind of visible significant scar over the breasts.
