Excess fat is nothing but accumulation of food in the body. Avoid foods that get stored in body - like processed and packed foods, SOS (Sugar, Oil & Salt) containing foods. Even home foods have very high SOS. Reduce wheat and rice based foods and increase fruits & raw veggies.
