My Bp is high Doctor suggest me to do Lipid profile test Here is the report of lipid profile Doctor says bp is due to high cholesterol. I want some remedies to cure this type of problem And how much time takes for cure this type of problem. Give some remedies to cure this problem. My lipid profile test are 1.Total Cholesterol = 249 2. Hdl cholesterol-direct = 45 3. Triglycerides = 78 4. Ldl cholesterol-direct= 162 5. Vldl Cholesterol = 15.5 6. Tc/Hdl cholesterol ratio = 5.5 7. Ldl/Hdl ratio = 3.6 8. Non-Hdl Cholesterol = 203.8 Plzz help.

High cholesterol may or may not lead to high BP. You have not mentioned your BP value. Your Cholesterol is Definitely high. At your age, first you should begin with life stylwe changes like - 1) Start exercising daily for 40-45 mins (e.g. Brisk walking) 2) Start eating a healthy diet avoid salt and sugar rich diet (consult a dietician for a detailed prescription) 3) If you smoke or eat tobacco quit. 4) Decrease your tea and coffee and aerated drinks intake 4) If you drink quit it. If despite of taking these precautions for 8 weeks, your cholesterol levels abd BP does not improve you will require medications. For BP, get a Echo, RFT done if they have not been done already.
