My TSH count is 8.96. I am using thyronorm 50 mg. Is it a right tablet. Kindly advice.

lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. For hypothyroidism treatment that is the right tablet. However, the dose being taken is not adequate. Because when on treatment for complete control of all symptoms of hypothyroidism TSH should be maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L. With a level of 9.96 mU/L, most of the problematic symptoms will continue to be there. Thanks.
