Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Sago is like any other carbohydrate preparation as rice. There is no greater advantage at all. In fact it should be consumed in a very limited quantity as it is converted to glucose fairly rapidly. People make khichadi of sago, that should be fine, but quantity should be very limited. Kheer of sago is not for a diabetic. There are some fried preparations made out of it, which also are not good. Thanks.
