hello, Thanks for the query. Please clarify whether the person asking the query is a female or male? Because name is of a female, but in details below the name sex is mentioned as male. However, looking at the height and weight with a BMI of 30.07 kg/Sq meter (Normal < 23kg/Sq meter), you are already in grade 1 obesity. Metformin is not going to be helpful in reducing the weight. What is required is strict diet control, stopping of taking sweets, fried foods, junk foods, colas, burgers and all bakery items, foods made from maida. Plus you will have to reduce the food intake as it has to be based on your ideal body weight. That means it should be based on 59 kgs X 20 calories =1150 calories a day. Plus you will have to do a regular exercise of at least 1 hour a day. All these things are absolutely essential if you want to regain your proper health. Thanks.

No you should not take this. There are other ways to reduce weight. Follow this 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 2. Don't overeat 3. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. U should eat whatever your mother or grandparent eat in bfast. I mean to say whatever is your traditional food. If punjabi eat paratha, if belongs to south then take idli/ dosa etc. 4. Have light meals every 2 hours (in addition to your breakfast, lunch n dinner) e.g. Nariyal paani, chaach, a handful of dry fruits, a handful of peanuts, any fresh n seasonal fruit, a cup of curd/milk etc 5.
