Hello there. Your sugar fasting is on the higher side. I would suggest you to follow a strict diet for one month avoiding sugar and carbohydrates and repeat your Blood sugar level after one month. It will also help to reduce your triglyceride level. Your RBC count shows that you have erythrocytosis which can be due to many causes including smoking. Do you smoke? Do you have symptoms like fatigue, headache joint pains? If you're sugar is not controlled in one month you may have to take oral hypoglycemics.

Dear Mr. lybrate-user, As per the given reports, your blood sugar and cholesterol are not in a comfortable level which indicate that your body has a metabolic imbalance now. That might be due to an improper lifestyle, diet or an underlying disease somewhere in any of the internal organs or systems. Please carry out a thorough examination of Liver, Kidney etc and check CRP, & ESR levels also. Do cardio type exercises regularly like running or swimming etc on a daily basis. In Ayurvedic medicines you can use Varanaadi kashayam, Nishakatakadi kashayam and some other tablets and powders to control the present variations. Panchakarma therapies might be required to maintain the equilibrium & to correct the metabolic imbalances ie for future. Please come for a detailed consultation if required. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Fasting blood glucose 190 mg and PP 265 mg, both are very high, suggesting uncontrolled diabetes. This needs to be controlled effectively. Ideally in well controlled diabetes fasting glucose should be < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg and HbA1c% <6.8. So please see that your glucose levels are brought under control. Otherwise, you are inviting serious long term complications of diabetes much earlier. As regards high RBCs (polycythemia), there are many causes, like presence of COPD, (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) or lack of oxygen due to some other reason. What are the symptoms you have in relation to that? Thanks.
