lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Hypothyroidism is a hormone deficiency disorder. Here thyroid gland is not producing enough or almost nil hormone. This hormone (Thyroxine) is required every day for all metabolic functions in the body. If not supplemented then all the symptoms of hypothyroidism are seen troubling the person. Therefore, only treatment to reduce TSH level is taking Thyroxine tablets in adequate quantity. There is no other medicine in any alternative medical branches. Plus you are a young lady, post marriage conception or fertility depends on maintaining TSH <3 mU/L. So my suggestion is take adequate dose of levothyroxine tablet.
