My Father 52 years had heart burn and heart attack. He has high sugar and blocks in the heart and he has placed 3 stent his heart. Doctor prescribed medicines. Now he is ok .But Not interested in eating food? He wants to eat only tasty food. .He also has low blood pressure. Please suggest me some steps.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Its good to know your father is fine - you have to make him understand that for his good he has to follow dietary restrictions & precautions like less of fried, spicy, sweet food, also salt restriction, no junk food, processed food, more of fibrous food like fruits & vegetables, beans, whole grains, sprouts, low fat dairy, lean meats like seafood skinless chicken, a handful of mixed nuts like almond, walnuts, pistachios, cashew, flaxseeds, chiaseeds - restrict tea, coffee to 1-2 cups a day - for low BP give him a salt restricted diet, not a salt free diet, ask your doctor as it may be a effect of the medicines - give him grilled, baked, boiled food rather than fried - take help of a dietitian.
