I am 44 years, have no BP or diabetes. In my diagnose I hv higher triglycerides and cholesterol. I brisk walk along with few exercise. Have a stippled breakfast like sprouts, dry fruits, Cucumber and papaya. For lunch regular food and dinner vows lighter. I am putting on weight and tummy, pls advise why and how to reduce.

Dear Regular exercise is need of healthy life. Keep cool on cholesterol side. This us made in liver as per body needs. For tummy, you need abdominal exercises. Vm

Dear lybrate-user, It is usual to put on weight at middle years of life. As far walking is concerned, you should walk very brisk. Just strolling does not help at all. Food that you are taking, seems to be okay to me. Avoid mid meals snacks. Stress is also known to cause weight gain. I would suggest reduce sugar intake, fats and cereals.
