Hi! i'm 25 years old female and have been diagnosed with anemia. My hb is 11.6, ferritin is 6.6 and vitamin b12 is <50. All other test reports were normal, rbc, wbc everything is normal. Doctor said because i'm vegetarian and also there is a little problem with absorption, although the test results for that is normal. They recommended me to get b12 shots but bc it will be administered iv for many days, my parents and I don't want to do that. I'm thinking of changing my diet i'm a veg. So don't have many options, don't know which food should I include in my diet and at what frequency. Also, I need some good supplement but don't know about the quantity I should take.
