Hello, greetings from your ayurveda wellness coach. Generally few women after a long period of menopause, they may face this kind of hot flashes and mood swings and they may even get anxiety and stress depending on the situations at home. In your mother, this is probably the case. However, make sure that she is having some multivitamin supplements and other supplements like vitamin d and b 12 if she is deficient. If this keeps recurring you may consult me online so that I can guide further with ayurveda remedies. She may need some methods to adopt while or before going to sleep so that these problems may not reoccur.
