Lightheadedness or reeling sensation is the dizzy feeling a person experiences prior to fainting. It may result in nausea, blurred vision or loss of balance. Allergies, altitude sickness, cold, flu, low blood sugar and consumption of tobacco, alcohol or certain drugs can cause light headedness in a person. This condition may signal at some underlying medical condition.
