After covid I am having a sensation like a poll stuck in my throat took antacid didn't help much my age is 21 I used to smoke but not heavily gave up almost 2 years there is no pain or irritate in throat no difficulty in swallowing or drinking but when I try to swallow the saliva I feel the sensation in google it says cancer I am very terrified and keep worrying about my health and my loved ones I can hear my heart beat sometimes and the sensation in throat is much more noticeable while laying down less while standing some days it's is more noticeable and some days sensation is low but noticeable no cough too but sometimes I feel like someone is grabbing my throat while laying in bed but no difficulties in breathing digestion is good and appetite too my family has no history of cancer I had no previous illness except constipation and acidity.

Firstly don't panic much. Searching any causes of symptoms in google will always give result as cancer. So don't just search causes for symptoms in google. Secondly, post covid voice change, foreign body sensation in throat, dry cough are common. Avoid cold food, cold water, soft drinks. Have lukewarm water gurgle thrice daily with betadine solution steam inhalation with plain water you can have vick logenz raw ginger dipped in honey avoid milk tea or coffee. Instead you can have raw tea with tulsi, ginger, black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves. Have raw turmeric (not the turmeric powder used in cooking) and in case it still doesn't help and you are still facing problems, you can visit a doctor.
