My mother, 71, has diabetes, blood pressure and recently recovering from covid, been a month since the first symptoms. With the blood tests, I think she would need to improve her iron intake and other antioxidant rich food. Is it safe for her to take china seeds, pumpkin, sunflower seeds, flax seeds - given her medication (including a blood thinner)? And some recommendations on how to eat those? What are some good iron source that would be good for her? Anything else we could recommend her for her recovery? The current doctor mentioned no restriction except for diabetes based restrictions. She is vegetarian as well. Thank you so much. God bless.
